Framed Ultrasonic Open Channel Flowmeter
The framework-based open channel flow meter is based on the same ultrasonic time difference measurement principle as the ultrasonic flow measurement box. It accurately captures the time difference signals of water flow in both forward and reverse directions through a bidirectional ultrasonic transceiver unit, combined with a layered independent computation mechanism, to achieve a three-dimensional analysis of cross-sectional flow velocity, suitable for medium-width rectangular open channels from 1.5 meters to 3.0 meters.
This product uses an aerospace-grade aluminum alloy frame structure, combining lightweight and high-strength characteristics. It supports both overall hoisting and segmented assembly modes, catering to the rapid deployment needs of different operating conditions. When combined with the ultrasonic flow measurement box in a "narrow-wide" configuration, it can fully cover channels up to 3 meters wide.
Product introduction:
OBCS-XD-type box ultrasonic open channel flowmeter (“measuring box”) is developed by the company for measuring water level and flow in open ditches. The measuring box is made by precision machining with accurate internal size parameters. The whole measurement calculation process is not related with ditches parameters. It is calibrated in factory before ex-factory, making on-site calibration unnecessary. The accuracy is not related to ditch parameters.
According to the principle of time difference method, the measuring box calculates the medium velocity by measuring the time difference between forward flow and reverse flow of ultrasonic wave in the medium. The average flow rate of fluid can be measured by multiple pairs of ultrasonic transducers inside. The fluid area can be calculated by electronic water gauge and set box width, and the instantaneous flow rate and accumulated flow rate can be finally calculated by using the principle of velocity-area method.
